Welcome to Information Technology 200. This course will prepare you for a career as a Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technican. In addition, this course will prepare you for the MCDST certification exam #70-272, Supporting Users and Troubleshooting Desktop Applications on a Windows XP Operating System. This course also features troubleshooting tips for solutions to common problems that you will encouter supporting users using Microsoft Office 2003 applications either at home or corporate environment.

This course offers in-depth study of all the functions and features of installing, configuring, and maintaining Microsoft Office 2003 on The Windows XP Operating Systems. This includes configuring Internet Explorer and Outlook Express; resolving issues related to customizing and personalizing Office Applications; migrating from Outlook Express to Outlook; identifying and troubleshooting network problems; configuring Office security settings; and monitoring security vulnerabilities and updates.
