This course will cover a complete, step-by-step approach for learning the fundamentals of supporting and troubleshooting computer hardware. Specific topics coverage includes: PC Repair Fundamentals, Form Factors and Power Supplies, Processors and Chipsets, Motherboards, Memory, Hard Drives, Installing and Supporting I/O devices, Multimedia Devices and Mass Storage, PCs on a Network, Notebooks, Tablet PCs, and PDAs, and Supporting Printers and Scanners.
This course takes the student from the just-a-user level to the I-can-fix-this level for most common PC Operating System concerns. This course deals with an effective commination of tools that reinforce both concepts and hands-on, real world experience. It also provides preperation for CompTIA's A+ Operating Systems Technoligies exam and along with MCP-100 prepares you for the ETA's CST and /or CNCT Certification exam.
